Happy Henry was used to lording it over his manor, as you can see from the chunks missing from his ears. He was a bit of a rough diamond, was Henry, but now he's safe and sound in a foster home, he's proved that he can shine. He's a super, well-adjusted, happy, friendly and very handsome boy who definitely seems to be enjoying his home comforts. His fosterer says that he's no trouble at all - and the nearest he gets to fighting these days is giving the toy on his scratching post a good old biffing, which he loves.
Henry is about 9 years old and is built like a champion boxer. (I think he must really like his food.)
Finally, Henry is FIV positive, but please don't let that put you off him. He's otherwise in tremendously good health and it's perfectly possible for FIV cats to live long, happy lives, as long as they receive prompt veterinary treatment for any health problems. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats - so you, your children, dogs or any other animals couldn't catch it from Henry. This does mean, however, that we recommend Henry either be an only cat or rehomed with another FIV positive feline. He'll also need to be kept indoors - which makes him ideal for anyone without a garden who would love to have a cat of their own.
Please feel free to contact us if you're interested in Henry, but would like more information on looking after an FIV cat.

At long last, over 1 year later, this from out Cat Welfare lady
"Thought you'd like to know that dear Henry has at last secured a fab new home, with the kindest couple. He will be living in Mansfield in a large modern flat, being lavished with love and care. They researched all about FIV cats and I've also given them some advice. They were so keen to see him on Saturday they went in between a wedding and reception!"
