I've been on all the above, and several others.

www.petsearch.org.uk - no way of contacting finders. No answer to an e-mail I sent to the site 1 March :(

Otherwise, all the above are useful. Sue at mymoggy is particularly supportive.

Others I have found which are, in my opinion, probably not worth bothering with:

www.animalrescuers.co.uk - notices 'drop off' after a few days, especially if a lot of people post.

www.lostyourpet.net - EVERY click brings up an advert. Popup blocker doesn't stop them because they are popunders. Very clever. And extremely irritating. The site can't remember my login details and when I try to reregister, tells me I'm already registered. Well, duh.

Thanks for that Sandre....it's nice to have a list of good sites people can use, instead of endless crappy ones and wasting time.

Anyone come across any good lost and found sites, please post a link

Rescues and vet surgeries are now encouraged to use this as a national Lost and Found pet register, as a central point of contact.
